KISS have chosen to announce a final farewell tour during an episode of the popular show America’s Got Talent. Though they have not released dates and venues yet, the tour is anticipated to start sometime in 2019.

The tour will be called End of the Road. As the frontman Paul Stanley has stated this will be “the most explosive, biggest show [they have] ever done”. The band has announced the news on their Twitter account and they have also provided a pre-sale access on their website.

KISS had already announced a farewell tour back in 2000 but they returned two years later and continued making shows and releasing new albums. The 2000 tour was the last to feature all four original KISS members. The current band consists of two of the original members, Stanley and Simmons, joined by Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

Although full details for this tour have not yet been released, various statements by the band members have hinted towards a big, multi-year tour with performances all around the globe.

KISS

KISS is an American rock band which formed in 1973. They are well known for their black-and-white makeup and their extreme outfits. Although they dropped the makeup and costumes in 1983, they returned to it in 1996. The reason for that was the return of the original lineup. Through the years they have been through various lineup changes with the original members reuniting at various times either to perform together or to receive awards. This hard rock, heavy metal band released 24 studio albums. Their last album Monster came out in 2012. Having sold more than 75 million records worldwide KISS is one of the best-selling bands of all time. In 2014 they were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
