The Ting Tings kondigen eerste show aan
Na afwezigheid van twee jaar kondigen ook de The Ting Tings hun eerste show aan. Het duo treed op tijdens het evenement “the Oxjam show” in het Londense Shoreditch Town Hall op 29 september.
Dit ter ondersteuning van het nieuwe album ‘Super Critical’. Het album wordt naar verwachting uitgebracht in oktober 2014. De verwachting is dat er een uitgebreide tour volgt.
“We are very excited to play the Oxjam show. It will be our first show in the UK after finishing our third album, and for it to be a show with such a good cause makes it really special! This show is the beginning of a movement of hundreds of gigs and events across the UK, all raising money to fight poverty.”
The Ting Tings stonden in 2012 nog onder andere op Pinkpop en Rock am Ring. Dit laatste festival was meteen ook het laatste optreden van de band.
