The festival started in 1993 in just a local atmosphere. In 2012 the festival celibrated their 20th anniversary, with a spectacular line up. People from all over the country respect the Zoetermeer Blues Festival. Through the years this festival has earned national recognition. The festival line up got better and better by the year. With bands from UK and USA, such as John Primer, Eddy Clearwater & the Juke Joints, Mike Morgan & the Crawl, Sugar Ray Norcia, Ben Prestage, Eric Steckel Band, and Danny Bryant's Redeyeband, the Zoetermeer Blues Festival is highly appreciated bij lots of blues fans!
